The grass was very high but we could see the lions feasting on the wildebeest. Roars were frequent.

Lions only kill when they are hungry. I understand the leopard kills sometimes when he is not hungry.

The lion begins to move out of view of our cameras. What a thrill to be so close to hi!

The lion was in a hole and the grass partially concealed him. This is not where you would expect him to be but this was the ride to see the animals early in the morning.

Undisturbed, the lioness continues on her way.

The lion is resting in a hole near the trail. We are very close to him and he only shows a little disgust for being bothered by all the attention.

We must look tasty.

Lions lie and watch for an animal to stray from the herd. Asways alert they spring into action. Lions kill when they are hungry. Tigers kill for the joy of killing.
